The Meinl AD1 is a limited edition 22" Artist Design Ride cymbal featuring engraved bronze artwork by Aric Improta. Titled Arcwave (2025), the design visually represents the feeling of being in a deep flow state - intense focus with effortless action. Each cymbal is individually serialized, blending musical function with personal creative identity. The bronze surface supports expressive playing without compromise, while the engraving acts as a visual point of focus during performance or rehearsal. Aric Improta, known for his work with Night Verses, approaches the drum kit as both a musical and artistic medium.
