German guitarist Manuel Gardner Fernandes started playing at the age of 3 and has blossomed into a truly exciting artist at the forefront of contemporary guitar. His percussive style, based on deadnotes and hard strumming, is influenced not only by metal, but also by fusion, jazz, soul and funk. His unique approach to the guitar has helped him build a massive following on Instagram, and his abilities as a composer are fully on display through his work with prog-metal band Unprocessed.
