Up for sale a Fender '62 Stratocaster Reissue STD-62 Made in Japan 3-Color Sunburst Electric Guitar w/Case - #E718116! This beautiful instrument is a Used Model in Good Cosmetic Condition and in Perfect Playing Condition. On this one, the back plate is missing (see 3rd picture) and there are several scratches, marks, dents, notches, paint chips, finish cracks, finish/plating deterioration and other signs of wear here and there (see 12th to 24th pictures), but nothing major. Also, there are scratches, notches, rips and other signs of wear on the case (see 9th and 10th pictures). Unit comes in a Hardshell Case.

Fender Japan was officially established in 1982 to produced lower priced Japanese-made guitars. The Fender "Made in Japan" comes from FujiGen Gakki factory. In 1984, CBS sells Fender to its current owners and while waiting for a new USA factory to begin production, Fender Japan models and leftover USA stock were mostly sold in the USA for a few years.
