The Byzance Foundry Reserve is a limited selection of cymbals created at the Meinl Byzance foundry in Turkey. Inspired by the era when all cymbals were made entirely by hand, each piece showcases stunning craftsmanship with layers of tonality and nuance. The extra hammering creates deep craters producing a clear dry stick-attack note over a lush bed of low undertones - the roar. This 24" Light Ride offers a dark and brooding wash that can explode into an ominous crash, with a bright attack and lush undertones. Responds great to mallets. Each cymbal comes with Meinl Standard 5A Drumsticks, cotton handling gloves, a signed certificate of authenticity, and a personal letter from Mr. Reinhold Meinl.
