Robin Boucher personally selects Adirondack red spruce for the bracing and soundboard in order to give the instrument its special bluegrass sonority. Rich low ends, driving mids and beefy highs describe the sound spectrum of our Bluegrass Goose. This guitar is incredibly easy to play due to the elevated soundboard radius and the unique profile of the neck which will perfectly match the hand of the guitarist.

Maturity is a great quality, particularly when it comes to acoustic guitars. In 2010, Boucher Guitars innovated by developing with the collaboration of The University Laval of Quebec, a unique roasting process that accelerates the aging of its spruce soundboards by eliminating lignin, but without altering its essential components of the wood, cellulose and hemicellulose. This industry first resulted in the launch of our famous Gold Touch top option at NAMM 2011. Optional on our guitars from the Studio Goose and Bluegrass Goose Series.
